VNO-NCW also maintains special links with a variety of other organisations. These include the five regional employers' associations affiliated to VNO- NCW. These associations represent regional business interests, provide a service to their regional members and encourage networking between those members. Over 8,500 Dutch entrepreneurs are personal members of these regional bodies. The chairmen of these regional associations have seats on the VNO-NCW Executive Board. The five regional associations are:
- VNO-NCW Noord (representing businesses in Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe);
- VNO-NCW Midden (representing businesses in Overijssel, Gelderland, Utrecht and Flevoland);
- VNO-NCW West (representing businesses in North and South Holland);
- Brabants-Zeeuwse Werkgeversvereniging BZW (representing businesses in Zeeland and North Brabant);
- Limburgse Werkgevers Vereniging LWV (representing businesses in Limburg).
Also affiliated to VNO-NCW is Jong Management, an association of over 1,300 young entrepreneurs and managers below the age of 40. The purpose of Jong Management is to create and maintain a social network for young entrepreneurs.
VNO-NCW also maintains special ties with:
- PUM Netherlands senior experts, a foundation which organises the temporary secondment of senior managers to fight poverty and encourage sustainable development in social free-market economies around the world;
- Stichting Jong Ondernemen, which seeks to promote, in a practical and professional way, interest among students in secondary and higher vocational education in running their own businesses;
- VNO-NCW de Baak Management Centre, which organises courses and training workshops for company managers;
- AWVN, which supports and advises companies and business sectors on matters relating to employment conditions.
